RECBASS-R software provides the U.S. Army Reception Battalions a single point of entry system to collect and validate key information on new U.S. Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard inductees at Army Initial Entry Training (IET) installations. Data is gathered for electronic feeds to DOD personnel, finance, medical, and training management systems. Additionally, it prints hard copy forms, stamps metal ID tags, provides data to clothing issue, labels folders, and cuts stencils. This process enables efficent reception and processing of new recruits and provides tremendous operational efficiency for TRADOC.
